Long-Term Stays
For stays of one week or more we ask for credit card details, and two weeks before arrival require a deposit of 20% which is non-refundable. If the booking is cancelled with less than one week's notice an additional 20% cancellation fee would be charged.
Part-cancellations
At weekends and public holidays there is a minimum stay. In this case if part of your stay is cancelled resulting in fewer nights than the minimum being booked, we will take the amount due for the minimum period.
In the event of cancellation part-way through your stay we will take the amount owing for the first night cancelled. However, if there is a minimum stay period then the above terms may override this. For example if there is a three-night stay during a public holiday weekend and two nights are cancelled then payment will be taken for three nights.
Conference Bookings
A pro forma invoice will be issued and payment is required by two weeks prior to arrival. This is non-refundable.

Group Bookings
The terms for group bookings are 50% of the cost to be paid by credit card four weeks in advance, and the balance to be paid by credit card one week in advance. These payments are non-refundable. If any breakfasts are taken during your stay they can be paid for on departure.
As we are a small guesthouse, we prefer not to take group bookings who think they may be noisy at an unsocial hour – sorry.
A reservation for four rooms or more constitutes a group booking. |
